Krista Siedlak Partner
Krista Siedlak works closely with employer clients, not just as legal counsel but as a strategic partner – someone who understands the intersection of legal obligations and business realities. She is known for her ability to distill complex workplace issues into clear, actionable guidance that helps organizations make informed decisions that align with both their legal responsibilities and operational goals.
Her practice spans the full spectrum of employment and human resources law, from large-scale restructuring to the day-to-day challenges of workforce management. Krista values being integrated into her clients’ decision-making processes so she can provide proactive advice, helping employers prevent problems rather than only responding once they arise. When litigation does occur, she is a strong and balanced advocate.
A significant part of Krista’s work is dedicated to fostering healthier, more resilient workplaces. She leads a robust training practice focused on equipping leaders and teams with the tools they need to prevent conflict, strengthen culture, and promote psychological safety. Her customized training workshops are tailored to meet the needs of each organization on topics ranging from Building Healthier Workplaces to Managing Mental Health, and Managing with Respect. Krista also has extensive experience in workplace investigations and audits, including harassment and bullying complaints, code of conduct violations, and cases involving fraud or theft. She has developed a specialized post-investigation practice, supporting organizations in addressing the impact of conflict and helping teams rebuild after difficult processes.
Krista is part of the Faculty for the at Osgoode Hall Professional Development for a number of their Certificate Courses for HR Professionals and Labour Relations, specifically in the area of workplace investigations. She speaks and writes frequently, including at the Ontario Bar Association, HRPA and OMHRA, with a particular focus on workplace investigations, workplace restoration, and building healthier workplaces.
As an avid globe trotter, Krista and her family can often be found taking up the next adventure while exploring far-off destinations.
