Robin is an attentive and empathetic lawyer whose practice focuses on workplace investigations and training in a range of complex matters.
Prior to joining Turnpenney Milne LLP, Robin worked at a leading litigation firm representing clients across a broad range of civil litigation matters, including commercial disputes, public law, professional regulation, medical negligence, shareholder disputes, construction disputes, and breach of contract disputes.
Robin completed her JD at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2022. During law school, Robin participated in numerous extracurricular activities to apply theory to practice and hone her advocacy skills. During the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, Robin was a caseworker in this housing rights division at Parkdale Community Legal Services where she represented low-income clients in virtual mediations and hearings.
Prior to law school, Robin worked as a research and policy intern at the City of Toronto’s Confronting Anti-Black Racism Unit where she supported the implementation of the Unit’s inaugural action plan. Robin has previously worked in the non-profit sphere as an office manager for the Ontario Health Coalition and as a data specialist at the United Way of Greater Toronto.
Outside of work, Robin enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, catching up on her long list of reality television shows and trying her hand at DIY projects around the house. Robin also takes every opportunity she can to speak to and mentor high school students interested in pursuing careers related to law.
