Shannon Sproule

Lawyer

Shannon is a strategic and creative lawyer with diverse experience. As an associate lawyer at Turnpenney Milne LLP, she practices in all areas of employment law and conducts workplace investigations.

Shannon has experience with workplace disputes in a wide variety of areas in both the public and private sector. She has appeared before the Ontario courts and administrative tribunals, advocating in both French and English. In addition to litigation, Shannon has acted as a human rights investigator and consultant at the municipal government, advising managers and employees on human rights and occupational health and safety issues, in addition to policy review and training. 

Shannon earned her Juristes Doctor at the University of Ottawa, where she completed courses in both French and English, after returning from a one year internship in France, through York University’s French Department. 

Outside of work, Shannon enjoys attending wine tasting events and tours, playing the piano, live music, and Pilates.
