Carolyn Denault

Lawyer

Carolyn is a highly collaborative, compassionate, and strategic advocate. As an associate lawyer at Turnpenney Milne LLP, she practices in all areas of management and employee-side employment law, as well as workplace investigations.

Prior to joining Turnpenney Milne LLP, Carolyn practiced labour and employment law at a leading full-service firm in Toronto. She has experience providing advice to clients in all areas of employment law, including executive compensation, employment standards, human rights, workplace safety and insurance, privacy, occupational health and safety, and wrongful dismissal. She has worked on successful arbitrations and mediations, and has routinely advised on the employment aspects of mergers, acquisitions, and amalgamations.

Carolyn completed a history degree from Western University in 2017, graduating with distinction. While attending Western, Carolyn was a member of the varsity cross country team and served as an executive member of the varsity student council. Carolyn earned her Juris Doctor in 2020 from Queen’s University, where she was a member of entertainment law pro bono group, and the Queen’s Law Indigenous Student Alliance group. She was called to the Bar in 2021.

Outside of the law, Carolyn is passionate about travelling, old cameras/film photography, her Beatles record collection, and going for a run.
