Chris Davidson

Lawyer

Chris is an Associate Lawyer at Turnpenney Milne LLP. He conducts workplace investigations and facilitates training on a variety of employment and labour law-related topics.

Prior to joining Turnpenney Milne, Chris was the director of an organization dedicated to providing training on workplace law and labour relations across Canada. Before that, he practised law at a community legal clinic in Belleville, Ontario, and at a prominent labour and employment law firm in Toronto.

Chris edited and co-wrote Lancaster House Publishing’s Collective Bargaining Series, a ten-volume reference work on labour law and collective bargaining in Canada, and its digital counterpart Unionized Workplaces in Canada: Labour Laws and Contract Clauses. He has also published articles in the Education & Law Journal and presented papers at World Congresses of the International Labour and Employment Relations Association (ILERA).

Chris received his law degree from Queen’s University where he was awarded the Vincent Principi Memorial Award in Labour Law and the David Sabbath Prize in Human Rights. In addition to his law degree, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Queen’s University and a Master of Industrial Relations and Human Resources from the University of Toronto.

In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his dog and availing himself of Toronto’s many cultural and culinary events.
