Jessica is a dedicated and experienced lawyer with a passion for resolving workplace conflicts and ensuring fair and equitable environments for employees and employers.
Jessica offers comprehensive advice and representation for employers and employees in both public and private sector on all aspects of workplace law. Her areas of expertise include drafting and implementing workplace policies, day-to-day employment advice, wrongful and constructive dismissals, severance negotiations, reviewing and drafting employment contracts, and human rights and accommodation matters. Jessica works collaboratively with clients to pragmatically resolve workplace disputes, seeking meaningful outcomes through settlement negotiations, mediation, and, when needed, litigation.
As a workplace investigator, Jessica conducts impartial and thorough investigations into various workplace issues. She is skilled in gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and providing clear, unbiased findings and recommendations to clients. Jessica is committed to ensuring that her investigations adhere to ethical standards and comply with all relevant employment laws and regulations. She takes the time to listen and guide parties through the process with transparency and empathy. Jessica’s approach to workplace investigations is rooted in a commitment to understanding the unique issues raised in each complaint and work environment. Her goal is to make findings that withstand scrutiny and to achieve a fair outcome for the parties.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys baking and is currently working toward her WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines to become a sommelier.
