The Toronto office is thrilled to welcome Shanice Prendergast to the team.
Shanice practices in all areas of employment law and workplace investigation and prior to joining Turnpenney Milne LLP, Shanice articled at a leading national law firm where she worked closely with partners and associates in preparation for trials, arbitrations, and mediations related to various employment matters including wrongful dismissals, human rights issues, occupational health and safety, terminations and employment policies.
Shanice received a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi where she graduated with a summa cum laude designation. Shanice received her Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School where she was the President of the Black Law Students’ Association, a Division Leader at Community and Legal Aid Services Programme (CLASP), and the recipient of the Dean’s Gold Key Award. Shanice also participated in Osgoode’s Mediation Clinic where she acted as a Community Mediator in matters at Small Claims Courts in the Greater Toronto Area.
