Turnpenney Milne LLP is a boutique law firm comprising of 15 lawyers practicing in various aspects of employment law. We offer a supportive and unique work environment to all our team members. We are currently looking to hire two practicing lawyers (one junior and one junior to mid-level) to join our busy workplace investigations and training practice.
While the firm’s scope of practice is varied and full-service, our current resource needs are in the practice areas of workplace investigations and training. We are hiring two lawyers who wish to focus on these dedicated areas for their first two years at the firm. We intend to train and mentor the successful candidates. As such, we do not have a requirement for previous work experience in investigations and/or training, though it would be considered an asset. Other relevant experience includes: articling or practice experience in a labour/employment firm; knowledge of Anti-Black Racism and Anti-Indigenous Racism; exposure to training and speaking opportunities; federal experience with workplace harassment and violence investigations.
If this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in, please send your resume, transcript, and a redacted writing sample (if available) to careers@tmllp.ca. All applications will be kept in confidence.
We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
