Turnpenney Milne Congratulates New Partner Asha Rampersad

Turnpenney Milne is pleased to announce that Asha Rampersad has joined the firm’s partnership.

Asha is an experienced employment lawyer with a focus on human rights litigation, disability management, conducting complex workplace investigations and culture assessments, training and providing employment advice to a wide variety of employers.

Asha has conducted many complex and sensitive investigations for provincially and federally regulated employers, universities, colleges, school boards, children’s aid societies, healthcare organizations, police services, municipalities, First Nations, private sector and not-for-profit organizations. Where appropriate, Asha conducts her investigations using a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive lens, particularly when investigating sexual harassment and assault cases, and investigations involving systemic and institutional racism.

Asha is also a highly sought after speaker and trainer who has been selected to speak at a number of employment and labour conferences across Canada and has significant expertise in the areas of diversity and inclusion.
